Inspired by a dream, the series capture frozen traces of movement through rotation and long exposure techniques, transforming familiar subjects—people, stones, water, and plants—into mesmerizing and otherworldly patterns of light and texture. The series’ exploration of temporal perception and the artist’s experiential approach to creation, subtly echoing the paradoxes of the instant and the constant. Lin invites viewers to experience familiar forms in unfamiliar ways and to contemplate the delicate interplay between movement, perception, and the passage of time.
